Wine Routes Privacy Policy

For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998, we "Wine Routes" are a data controller. We comply with the relevant data protection laws in the UK, and more than this, promise to treat any data or personal details that we have about you in an ethical and discreet manner. We would like to reassure you that we take your privacy seriously and are concerned that at no stage do you get nuisance emails or mailings, either from us or from anyone else because of your contact with us.

At Wine Routes, we aim to provide you with first class information about wine travel, wineries to visit, places to stay and eat at and other useful travel services. We may also recommend books, wines, and make other offers that are suited to your needs.

In order to offer you a good service, we need to collect certain personal details from you. We also need to pass on your personal details to the companies and organisations involved in your booking.

We would also like to store and use your personal details for future marketing purposes (for example, sending you an email alert of new regions or chateaux featured on the site, interesting holidays available or details of a promotion).
